Hello, thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

I'm afraid that even by clicking all the links as you recommended that I still got lost. Clearly you are angry and adept at vituperation.

I think we are all trying to make sense of a changed landscape and know that mistakes have been made all along the way. Now the questions are what where the nature of the mistakes and how to we guard against further mistakes going forward?

I would like to recommend two sources of intelligent insight and conversation which I think you may enjoy.

First is Col. Pat Lang's blog Sic Semper Tyrannis 2006 and second is John Robb's Global Guerillas

In particular Robb's recent post Rationalizations and Warfare asks the important question about of the American invasion and occupation of Iraq: "[W]hether or not our maximalist goals in Iraq could ever have been achieved given the capabilities of the opposition and the limited levels of commitment we were able to bring to to bear on the problem?"

You have posted a comment on my blog, Net the Truth Online for Friday, May 26, 2006, Quick on the Draw

Net the Truth Online

In your comment you include your statement in a Press Release:

"I became involved when the Sun-Sentinel in Florida reported that Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) said the U.S. poses the top threat to world peace. I watched in dismay as the media and bloggers worldwide reported on this misquote."

By including the Press Release with this particular quotation in your reply to my commentary "Quick on the Draw" you imply that Net the Truth Online has used the Sun-Sentinel quote.

That quote, whether or not inaccurate, had not been reported or commented upon by Net the Truth Online.

I have used a quote attributed to Rep. John Murtha he made during a May 17 Press conference regarding Marines serving in Haditha.

"Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood,"

I cite resources and links to that quote, thus it is substantiated.

I've responded as you obviously have not taken the time or care to carefully read Net the Truth Online, and you have attempted to discredit my site with your post.

I've replied more fully on my site.

Well Folks,

It seems that Mr. Handcuff/Chancuff
has evaporated into the mystical fog of oblivion!

His "Flat Journalism" has leaked out all the Hot-Air! Pious Cliff is
hiding under his desk, who knows where?

Perhaps he took Snake Hunters advise on my Abe Lincoln Post,
and took up Numerology or Yoga.
Now Pennsylvania can breathe again!
